“Christopher Robin is Saying his Prayers” sang a small Joan Bosworth at Kettering Eisteddfod.
From a very young age until a month before she passed away Joan Carnell sang; her life was immersed in music and through that she touched hundreds of people’s lives as a performer and teacher.
Hers was a pure, God given voice that rang through the concert halls and churches of Northamptonshire and beyond.
Sound Sensation, the choir Joan sang with will be joined by performers, all friends and colleagues who will recreate excerpts from musical theatre, song and dance.
Join us at this concert, and lose yourself in some of the glorious music Joan loved.
One Voice will begin at 7pm with one interval of 15 minutes, and should finish by 9.15pm.
All funds raised by this concert will be divided equally between The Centenary Wing at Kettering General Hospital and Bowel Cancer UK, the charities Joan raised funds for herself.
