The Mustangs are one of the UK's most-established blues rock bands. Now in their 20th year, the four-time British Blues Award nominees have released eleven albums, including nine studio albums of entirely original material. Their latest, Watertown, was an environmental concept album about industrialisation and pollution, and won them huge critical acclaim for further pushing the boundaries of blues music in the UK. Their drummer, Jon Bartley, is also co-leader of the Green Party. Their reputation for informal but incendiary live shows has seen the band tour extensively all over the UK and Northern Europe, playing and headlining festivals as far afield as Swanage and Maryport. In 2017 they played the legendary Glastonbury Music festival.
