Jimmy Jones returns to the Harlow Playhouse Theatre
He promised that he would come back...Legendary stand-up comedian Jimmy Jones has confirmed his Autumn return to the Harlow Playhouse theatre for an evening of his renowned ‘humour’ in ‘Almost’, the Guvnor’s Last Stand
Supported by fellow Essex comedian, Mickey Pugh, fans are in for a night to remember from the revered Guv’nor of stand-up comedy.
Jimmy has performed in counties all over the world in a career that has spanned six decades.
His unique brand of adult humour has in one respect kept him off main stream TV, but it has also inspired many of today’s top comics and entertained the elite.
Just some of the many who cite him as their favourite comedian include bands Iron Maiden & Status Quo and Tom Selleck, Eddie Grant, Bill Wyman and the late Benny Hill & Dudley Moore.
Jimmy’s fans will be aware that he is an ‘Essex boy’ born and bred.
