There’s plenty to sing along to as father and son duo Terry Webster and Terry Webster Junior bring to you the greatest hits of ‘The Everly Brothers’, one of the most influential icons of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era.
The Terry Webster Rock ‘N’ Roll with Laughter Show
An hilarious and energetic one man show featuring vocal impressionist Terry Webster, as he takes you back to the days when he formed a Skiffle group, way back in 1957. Turning to Rock ‘n Roll as ‘The Diamonds’ with his sister singer Patti Brook he was soon on tour with the big names of the early 1960’s such as ‘Emile Ford’ and ‘Cliff Richard and the Shadows’. Terry became bass guitarist for former Shadow’s Jet Harris touring with ‘Little Richard’, ‘Sam Cook’, ‘Gene Vincent’ and ‘Del Shannon’. ‘The Beatles’ joined the show at The Liverpool Empire prior to the release of their first big hit “Love Me Do”.
As an EMI Columbia recording artiste in 1964 he was given a new name Tony Brook but despite TV appearances his R n B song “Meanie Genie” and others failed to chart. Terry would later become comedy frontman for ‘The Rockin Berries’. There were many television appearances and seasons at The London Palladium supporting ‘Tom Jones’ and ‘Frankie Vaughan’, followed by a tour with ‘Sacha Distel’, ‘Olivia Newton John’, and ‘Stephane Grappelli’.
After twenty years with ‘The Berries’, Terry finally went solo and produced many vocal and music recordings for ‘Jive Bunny’ from his own studio. Now producing his own albums and doing his fun one man show he has also teamed up with son Terry to bring you the very best of ‘The Everly Brothers’.
